Jennifer Samples Lazarus joined LazBro, Inc. in 2008, bringing extensive marketing experience with her. While she's a media planner at heart, Lazarus has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to develop a well-rounded skill set that includes digital strategy, branding/awareness, DR/performance marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), CRM, copywriting, audience research and analysis, web analytics, media buying and planning, social marketing, and mobile marketing (SMS, WAP, iPhone/Android apps). While her primary focus is in digital marketing, her skill set is balanced out by successful work experience in newsprint, magazines, direct mail, creative design, audience research, and software development.
At LazBro, her passion for digital marketing goes "beyond the banner" by utilizing her multi-faceted expertise for clients such as Viceroy Hotel Group, Sunless, Inc., Little Tikes toys, and Physicians Formula Cosmetics. Lazarus is known for skills that leverage the digital medium to conduct research and testing for traditional media campaigns. In response to her clients' needs to integrate awareness with actionable metrics, Lazarus developed the 4E's methodology, which measures exposure, engagement, experience, and efficiency.
Prior to joining LazBro, Lazarus was the senior vice president of digital marketing at TargetCast tcm, where she oversaw all things digital for clients such as Expedia.com, hotels.com, Sun-Maid, Wharton School of Business, and TIAA-CREF. Prior to that, she was vice president of media innovation, sales, and communications at infuz in St. Louis. There, she was given the responsibility of creating the media department, working for clients such as Brown Forman and Purina.
Lazarus began her career at Cox Newspapers as the internet account executive for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. From there, she moved to Response Media as director, digital business development, where she was responsible for developing media strategy and optimization recommendations for interactive accounts including Procter & Gamble, Casio, and Unilever. Lazarus is a founding board member and former president of the Gateway Interactive Marketing Association. She has held numerous leadership positions in the digital industry, serving on the Ad Liaison Council of the Association for Downloadable Media and on the American Association of Advertising Agencies Digital Committee.
