Born in Manhattan New York he holds dual citizenship (United States and Japan). MBA and Global Management Program (GMP) certificate from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1994.

After working for Aerospace & Multimedia Division for Itochu Corporation, In 1996, he founded the world’s first online photo service and serviced clients such as Yahoo!, Google, Canon, FamilyMart,etc. In 2005, he joined Coca-Cola (Japan) to found its interactive marketing department and started its owned media membership site “Coca-Cola Park” in 2007, which now has grown to over 11 Million members. In April, 2012, he was appointed as Professor at The Graduate School of Project design in addition to his role at Coca-Cola (Japan).

He has served as a member of the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Research Committee on Intellectual Property Rights for Small and Medium Enterprises.Received “Web-jin (Web People) Grand Prize” 2010 by the Web Advertising Bureau (WAB) of Japan Advertisers Association Inc.Member of Japan Society for Corporate Communication Studies. Author of various articles including “iTrend” on Advertimes by Senden-Kaigi. Co-Author of “Coca-Cola Park’s Challenge toEco-System Marketing” (2009).
