Rikke Alderson joined Big 5 Sporting Goods just about five years ago as senior director of digital marketing. In this role, she leads Big 5's digital marketing strategy with a focus on engaging customers with the brand and developing and nurturing loyalty while driving directly attributable sales to the bottom and top lines. Most recently, she led the charge for the brand's recently launched ecommerce initiative and drives all marketing strategy and digital creative content. Alderson and her team shape and execute the brand's social media presence and digital advertising efforts, and continue to usher the almost 60-year-old brand toward its omni-channel goal – one baby step at a time.

Prior to her tenure at Big 5 Sporting Goods, for 20+ years Alderson designed and implemented digital marketing strategies in retail, entertainment, technology, and government entities.
