Curtis Tingle is Senior Vice President, Strategic Demand and Development at Valassis, a leader in intelligent media delivery. The company provides proven and innovative media solutions to more than 15,000 local, regional and national advertisers in online, print and in-store media.

Tingle is responsible for creating demand and go-to-market strategies for the company’s products and services.  He is the chief architect of the company’s long-term strategic plan to achieve Valassis’ growth objectives.  Tingle is also responsible for P&L management and growth of the company’s RedPlum® co-op FSI business and marketing strategy for the company’s Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) client vertical.  Also under his leadership are the teams responsible for consumer and B2B brand management, internal and external communications, sales planning and development and business intelligence.

As a recognized expert on coupon trends, the FSI industry, CPG promotional strategy and the changing consumer path to purchase, Tingle’s insights are in demand by the media and throughout the industry.  Tingle is a respected and proven leader with an impressive track record of success.  Since joining the company in 1997, he has served in numerous roles of increasing responsibility in marketing and sales working with some of the company’s largest clients. He also developed and was the first to serve in the “chief of staff” role in the Office of the Chairman and CEO.

Tingle received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance in 1997.
