Cassel Kroll leads the Paid Media team in Edelman Digital's New York office.  He crafts the strategies and tactics that extend the reach and seed the stories his clients want told. 

Prior to joining Edelman Digital he was the Director of Social Media Strategy at Mindshare where he was responsible for creating and developing a wide array of Paid, Owned and Earned social media strategies and tactics for client brands. He was a founding member of Mindshare Social, Mindshare’s growing Social Media practice.

Before that, Cassel was employed at Starcomm MediaVest where he helped to found their P&G Digital Strategy Team, the Microsoft Innovation & Emerging Media Team, and MediaVest's Social Media Center of Excellence.

He has appeared in the pages of Mashable, AdAge, The New York Times, PR News, the Holmes Report, and ClickZ, and has presented on the topic of social media at conferences, college and corporate campuses.

Cassel has a B.A. in Biology from Earlham College, a M.A. in Law & Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a second M.A. in Conflict Resolution from the McGregor School at Antioch University.

Cassel resides in Brooklyn, NY with his wife, dog, and almost 2 year-old daughter. In his spare time he likes to indulge in his role as an amateur cocktail and culinary mad scientist.
