Jamie Byrne is Director of Content Strategy at YouTube.  Jamie is responsible for prioritizing YouTube’s content investments across verticals and driving commercialization and marketing approaches for YouTube partners.  Jamie was instrumental in developing YouTube’s Original Programming investment strategy and helped lead the development of the Original Channel portfolio.  Jamie joined YouTube in June 2006 prior to the company’s acquisition by Google.  Jamie oversaw YouTube’s early monetization strategies including the development of initial ad formats and sponsorship programs for major brands.  Prior to joining YouTube, Jamie worked at Yahoo! and DoubleClick.
