Richard Russey is currently the Vice President of Sales for AcuityAds, a programmatic technology that generates the most intelligent audience connections through data, analytics and the most advanced technology solutions in the market. Rich has deep experience in media sales and sales management at various stages from start-up to turnaround to mature brand strategies.
Prior to joining Acuity in 2013, Rich was Executive Director of Advertising Sales across digital and mobile platforms at WebMD, the leading provider of Healthcare information for consumers and healthcare providers. In his four years at WebMD, Rich drove and grew advertising revenue on both consumer and physician targeted platforms, helping to build new and innovative products while utilizing data and insights to create deeper engagement targeting the core audience within the right environment for brands.
Before WebMD, Rich ran cross-platform national and regional sales teams at Conde Nast, Meredith and Time Inc, helping to launch new brands including Business 2.0 and Men’s Vogue while also working to grow mature brands such as Fortune, Sports Illustrated and LHJ. He was involved in exploring and selling major cross platform programs with leading B-to-B, B-to-C and CPG companies against diverse audience and content publishers.
Rich graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree across the dual concentration of Business Economics and Organizational Behavior & Management.
