Lalla regularly counsels clients with respect to rights of privacy and publicity, behavioral targeting, privacy and data security issues, native advertising, website and social media terms and conditions, and privacy policies. He also conducts reviews of advertising copy with respect to regulatory, endorsement, false advertising, intellectual property issues, sweepstakes and contests, and other complex domestic and international promotions. Additionally, he advises clients on marketing, branding, and licensing of copyrights and trademarks, as well as the clearance, protection, and registration of trademarks and copyrights. Lalla has considerable experience in negotiating complex digital and new media, and union and non-union talent agreements. His clients include numerous advertising, social, and digital agencies, and he also represents clients in the entertainment, fashion, luxury goods, pharmaceutical, and financial services industries.
Lalla has been recognized by The Legal 500 United States for his knowledge in the areas of advertising and marketing. Prior to joining Davis & Gilbert, he was director of business and legal affairs at Lifetime Television.
