When it comes to marketing strategy and management, you name it, I’ve done it. With 21 years managing the marketing programs of some of the world’s leading brands - here in New Zealand and abroad - my expertise as an integrated communications specialist runs deep. 

I work hand-in-hand with my clients on their core marketing strategies, from the high level to front line tactics. Because my background is corporate rather than agency, I have the perspective and experience to navigate the commercial challenges of any business. 

I’m passionate about engaging marketing programs that simplify today’s media chaos, make good sense and have the buy-in of the entire organisation. I love creating great brands and innovative ideas which move consumers – then, helping you to sell them to your internal stakeholders in a way that’s authentic, rhetoric free and clearly adds value. 

On the flip side, my business planning skills mean I’m also adept at helping agencies to translate killer ideas into commercial reality for their accounts, and I frequently work in a freelance planning capacity.

I specialise in annual planning, campaign development and management, NPD, market development and export strategy, go-to-market plans, marketing operations, sponsorship strategy and event production, but I have a particular soft spot for consumer insight and developing fledgling brands. 

Working across multiple sectors including FMCG, consumer durables, sport and apparel has given me broad exposure to a wide range of industry challenges, and the flexibility to adapt and act with insight and experience. 

Fitting with my client’s timelines and business requirements means I work flexibly. From consulting on their marketing programs, running internal workshops, outsourcing when extra hands are needed, or running the full show where required. I am Christchurch based, but can often be found at all ends of the country.
